Travel from the Costa del Sol to Madrid for only 9 euros
Ouigo is offering super cheap train tickets between Malaga and the Spanish capital

To celebrate its new train route between the Costa del Sol and the capital of Spain, high-speed railway company Ouigo has launched a super sale with tickets starting at just 9 euros each way.
The promotion for discount train tickets between Malaga and Madrid begins at noon on Wednesday February 19 and is valid for travel until June 1.
Ouigo trains now have two daily frequencies connecting the Costa del Sol with the Spanish capital (both outbound and return), in the morning and in the afternoon, with a stop in Córdoba.
All tickets can be purchased through the company's website, ouigo.com or through its app.
Train schedules between Malaga and Madrid
On the journey leaving from the Malaga María Zambrano station and arriving at Atocha in Madrid, the times are:
- 11.15am from Malaga, stopping in Cordoba between 12.04pm and 12.07pm, and ending the journey in Madrid at 2.10pm. This journey takes 2 hours 55 minutes.
- In the afternoon, another train leaves Malaga at 7.50pm, arriving at Atocha at 10.53pm (without stopping in Cordoba). It takes just over 3 hours.
The journey from Madrid to Malaga also has two schedules:
- Departing at 7.19am from Atocha Station, stopping in Córdoba between 9.10am and 9.13am, and arriving at María Zambrano at 10.17am. It takes just under 3 hours.
- The second train leaves Madrid at 3.23pm and arrives in the capital of the Costa del Sol at 6.11pm. This journey takes 2 hours and 48 minutes.
Ouigo ticket prices
This railway company is well known for offering tickets starting at 9 euros. In addition, Ouigo has a fixed fare of 7 euros for children between 4 and 13 years old and travel is free for children up to 3 years old, as long as they are travelling in the arms of an adult.
At the moment, the highest price for the journey between Malaga and Madrid is still less than 50 euros.
