A chilly and windy few days ahead: Alicante weather forecast January 22-25

The next few days will feel colder and windier with some cloud, and a chance of rain 

It seems like the bad weather is here to stay with more wintry conditions on the way across Alicante Province. Over the next few days, the temperatures will dip and the winds will pick up, making it feel even colder. There will be more unsettled weather with the possibility of rain and some thunderstorms inland.

Thursday January 23

Thursday will feel quite cold, unfortunately. This is down to the wind and so coastal areas will notice the temperature drop more. Some cloud will linger, but overall it should be a bit brighter throughout the day. There is still a chance of some light showers.

Friday January 24

Friday brings more of the same, chilly and cloudy with some bright spots throughout the day. Winds should ease a bit, but inland areas will still feel cold in the morning and again when the sun goes down in the evening. Snow might make an appearance, but on higher ground.

Saturday January 25

Saturday will remain cool and cloudy with the occasional sunny spell. Light rain is possible in inland areas, but most areas will stay dry. Morning and evening frost is likely in northern inland towns, while the wind will continue to make its presence known.

Sunday January 25

Cloud and brighter spells will continue through the day, with a small chance of light rain inland. Temperatures will stay much the same, with frost possible in northern inland towns again. Snow is expected over higher ground nearby, and strong westerly and north-westerly winds will make it feel chillier in exposed areas.

Even though there’s no active weather alert for Alicante itself at the moment, the wind and cooler temperatures mean it’s worth wrapping up warm if you head out over the next few days. Be extra careful near the coast and other exposed spots, strong winds and high waves will make things dangerous. With some light rain forecast, layer up and don’t forget your umbrella when you go out.
