Registration for this activity is via phone on 968 43 14 30 required.
This activity includes a 7.3km route and is run by the Ricardo Codorníu visitor centre in the Sierra Espuña, targeting a family audience. Commentary about the flora and fauna seen en-route is in Spanish. The route follows a route close to the sanctuary of la Santa. Minimum age for participation is 8.
Sierra Espuña: This vast forested mountainous area offers many opportunities to enjoy walking, picnics and the open air and lies just behind the town of Alhama. There is a central visitor's centre, the Centro de Visitantes Ricardo Codorniu, which offers maps, and general information about the flora and fauna, as well as several picnic and rest areas with restaurants. Centro de Visitantes Ricordo Codorníu: 968 431430. Opening hours Tuesday to Saturday 9.00 and 14.00 and 15.00 to 17.30, and Sundays 9.00 to 15.00 only. Access is provided for those of limited mobility. Click for more information about the Ricardo Codorníu Visitor Centre.
Within the park area are the rural districts of El Berro and Gebas, two attractive villages which offer multiple options for camping, overnight accommodation, restaurants and exploring the Sierra Espuña.
