Red weather alert in Andalusia this Friday: Weekend forecast November 1-3
Be on your guard as the rain and storms continue in Spain
Andalucía weather warnings, Friday November 1
After the destruction wrought by the DANA in Valencia, the far southwestern portion of Andalucía is on red alert – the highest level, like Valencia was – this Friday November 1 due to the arrival of torrential rains.
This Friday morning, the coastal and pre-coastal parts of the province of Huelva can expect up to 70mm of accumulated rainfall to drop each hour. The red alert is no joke and should be taken very seriously. People are advised not to leave their houses and not to travel on the roads if it can possibly be avoided.
Seville, Cádiz, Málaga and even parts further east in Andalucía will all have some rain this Friday, too, but they will only be weak showers, and getting weaker the further east you go.
By Saturday November 2, it should have dried out somewhat for Huelva, although Málaga will have storms and rain throughout the day. Thankfully, though, no weather alerts have yet been issued at all and it should (fingers crossed) not be too destructive.

A British man, aged 71, died in Alhuarín de la Torre, Málaga, after having been rescued from the flooding.
Coastal Cádiz, Málaga and some inland parts of Almería province will all continue to have some showers into Sunday 3, but for the most part it will be dry and sunny – if a little cloudy – elsewhere.
The forecast for next week is for a few more scattered showers in Huelva and on the coast, but thankfully it looks like the storm will have passed and it will be time to start picking up the pieces.
