Oct 18-Nov 22 Salón Otoño art exhibition by local Águilas artists
Participants are welcome to submit their work to the exhibition
From the exhibition hall of the Casa de Cultura comes this year’s Salón de Otoño, or Autumn Salon, a showcase of the fantastic art created by the people of Águilas. On display from October 18 to November 22, the artwork will be displayed in the Manuel Coronado Exhibition Hall of the Casa de Cultura on weekdays from 6pm to 9pm.
Artists interested in exhibiting their works at the Autumn Salon this year must deliver them to the exhibition centre by October 4, either in the morning (9am to 2pm) or afternoon (4pm to 8.30pm).
The exhibition will consist of artistic works created by people registered as residents in the municipality of Águilas, and will be a collective exhibition.
To participate, artists must contact the Casa de Cultura:
- Email: biblioteca.aguilas@ayuntamientodeaguilas.org
- Telephone number: 0034 968 413 305
The works that are to be presented must be sent in advance in digital copy in JPG format to the email address. This is in order to create a QR code for the piece at the exhibition.
The email should also be accompanied by the name of the author, title of piece, technique and dimensions. Also included should be the price of work for those interested, when viewing the piece, during the exhibition.
Finally, each participant can submit up to a maximum of 2 works, they must be a native of Águilas or residing in the town and the pieces must be previously unseen by the public.
