Discover the crypto-wetland birdlife site near the road from Camposol and Condado to Alhama

World Migratory Bird Day is celebrated on 9^th May and on the following day this special guided walk is being held to welcome the summer avian visitors which arrive every year at the saline wetlands of the Guadalentín valley, at a site in the countryside between Totana, Alhama de Murcia and Mazarrón.

Starting at 10.00 and lasting approximately three and a half hours, this free guided walk is along a 7-km route described as being of low difficulty (not recommended for under-9s), in an unusual countryside where the saline nature of the water supply has led to it being classified as a “crypto-wetland”.
