Click HereThe rain, strong winds and snow which are affecting the Region of Murcia continues to cause road closures, and the latest bulletin issued by the regional government at 10.00 on Monday reports that the westbound carriageway of the RM-19 motorway has been closed not far from San Javier on the coast of the Mar Menor.
The other main roads belonging to the regional network which are blocked are the RM-F33 near El Mojón in San Pedro del Pinatar and the RM-703 in Moratalla, while numerous roads around the towns of Moratalla and Yecla are also impassable or close to impassable. The authorities continue to recommend avoiding road travel if at all possible with alerts for bad weather remaining in place throughout the rest of Monday.
Alicante airport also remains closed this morning.
