ARCHIVED - Jumilla-Pinoso RM-247 re-opens as fallen tree is cleared
Fallen trees have added to the problems for municipal services in the north and north-west of the region
The carretera RM-427 (Jumilla-Pinoso) has re-opened to traffic following the removal of a fallen tree near to the Venta Viña P.
Emergency Services have recommended that all non-urgent journeys be avoided until storm Gloria has moved further along the Spanish coast and weather alerts have been lifted.
By this evening alert levels will have been reduced throughout the region, although the Altiplano (Yecla and Jumilla) are both expecting further snowfalls in the next few hours.
