Singer, songwriter and actress Cyrille Aimée Daudel was born to a French father and a Dominican mother in Fontainebleau (France) but now, after over a decade in New York, resides in New Orleans.
She shot to fame winning the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition and a similar award at the Montreux Jazz Festival, receiving praise from the press and being described by the Wall Street Journal as “one of the most promising jazz singers of her generation”.
Her live performances are immensely charismatic and she connects immediately with her audiences, as those attending her first show in San Javier will see for themselves!
MATT BIANCO
Following Cyrille Aimée on stage in San Javier are the British band Matt Bianco, whose fusion of jazz and Latin rhythms brought them a string of successes in the 1980s (Whose Side Are You On, Get Out of Your Lazy Bed, More Than I Can Bear, Yeh Yeh, etc).
With the role of lead vocalist now filled by Mark Reilly, they came back in 2017 with the album Gravity, and the San Javier Jazz Festival is delighted to see them for the 24th edition of the event.
The double bill concert begins at 22.00 in the open-air Auditorio Municipal with tickets priced at 25 euros. Season tickets are also available: for bookings and further information click here, or scroll down the articles below.
