The honour of closing the 2024 San Javier Jazz Festival goes to the Canadian pianist and singer Diana Krall, winner of three Grammy Awards and eight Juno Awards, famed for a string of top-10 US chart albums and with more than fifteen million records sold worldwide.
She is the only singer in the history of to have seen 8 albums debut right at the top of Billboard magazine's list of the best jazz albums and the magazine also named “jazz artist of the decade 2000-2009.” Her exquisite discography features producer Tommy LiPuma and the great Claus Ogerman on several occasions and Diana has become a universal jazz icon and one of the most popular and prestigious artists in the world.
For this reason the honour is not only for Diana Krall – it is more of a privilege for San Javier to be able to welcome her on stage and offer fans a long-awaited chance to see this wonderful artist in concert.
