Camposol Sector C gardening team kicks off 2025 with success
The Green Fingers group have been busy gardening, pruning and fundraising already this year
The Camposol Sector C gardening team and volunteers began their 2025 efforts on Wednesday January 8 with a productive day of maintenance and fundraising.
Sandra, Jan, John and Paul focused on trimming trees and bushes near the Sector C welcome sign, joined by Saymongarden Afailal, who provided valuable help in cutting back a taller tree. Meanwhile, Matt carried out planting at the Remembrance Memorial, and Alan and Andy took on watering duties to keep the area thriving.
John (a different one), Kevin and Paddy collected donations in support of the gardening efforts, raising an impressive 179 euros. The team expressed their gratitude to everyone who contributed, as well as to Cats Bar Camposol and Angie for providing breakfasts to fuel the volunteers.
The day marked a successful start to the year, demonstrating the community’s commitment to keeping Camposol Sector C well-maintained and welcoming.
