Click HereThe Camper Park La Ribera facility, which opened in January 2018, is one of the largest motor home parking areas in Europe, and is located on the edge of town in Santiago de la Ribera (municipality of San Javier) just ten minutes’ walk from the beaches of the Mar Menor in the Costa Cálida.
The park features a range of conveniences and services, including access to mains electricity and water supplies, toilets, showers, grey and black water disposal facilities, washing-up sinks, a laundry area, wi-fi, a park, green zones, a picnic area, petanque pistes, a pets’ area and a café. At the same time, as well as the Mar Menor other attractions in the vicinity include walking routes, water sports, golf, the historic cities of Murcia and Cartagena and of course the local gastronomy!
Local markets are held on Wednesdays in Santiago de la Ribera and Thursday and Sunday in San Javier.
The 210 plots are of 50, 70 and 100 square metres and are all on a gravel surface, and for those bringing their bikes with them to the Region of Murcia the front of the enclosure is right next to the cycle lane which leads to the coast. Rates range from 10 euros per night for standard-sized vehicles, rising to 12 or 15 euros for larger motor homes, and this price includes 1 vehicle, 2 people, drinking water, hot water showers, and the loading and unloading of grey and black water tanks. Surcharges are applicable for extra services.
