Café Bar Yemanjá is now open all day for the spring-summer season
Enjoy food, cocktails and seafront views at this much-loved spot in Cabo de Palos

Café Bar Yemanjá in Cabo de Palos is once again open and ready to welcome customers all day long, just in time for the warmer months ahead. Nestled right by the water between Cartagena and La Manga del Mar Menor, Yemanjá has long been a favourite among both locals and visitors for its fresh, flavourful food, laid-back atmosphere and stunning sea views.
After closing for a winter break just before Christmas, owner Magdalena reopened the café bar in mid-March as part of a seasonal restart, which now includes Yemanjá extending its opening hours to cater for increased footfall, starting with the busy Easter holidays.
The new opening hours are:
- Thursday to Monday: 11am to midnight, with the kitchen open all day long
- Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
The menu features a great variety of freshly prepared dishes, with a strong focus on vegetarian and vegan options alongside typical Murcian cuisine. Whether you’re after a long brunch, a lazy lunch or a few drinks and cocktails in the evening, Yemanjá offers a relaxed, bohemian setting that suits all kinds of occasions.
Its location on the Cabo de Palos seafront makes it ideal for combining a bite to eat with a scenic stroll along the coastline. If you haven’t yet visited, it’s well worth putting on your list this season.

Nestled in the heart of the iconic Cartagena port, Yemanjá specialises in modern tapas with a twist

The lifelong dream of Magdalena, who is originally from Argentina, the bar aims to offer a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the marina, a relaxing hideaway where customers can try a range of tasty tapas and a wide variety of vegetarian and vegan delicacies.

If you dont like a certain ingredient you can just ask and the menu can be adapted to suit individual tastes.
Magdalena likes to feel that all her customers, new and old, are guests in her home and her main aim is to ensure that everybody leaves happily.
As Magdalena herself says, “Everyone has a place in Yemanjá.”
