Bright and breezy this weekend: Alicante weather forecast May 2-5
The sun and high temperatures make an appearance in Alicante but the weekend will be quite blustery
Minimum and maximum temperatures on Saturday
It’s been a gloomy week so far in Alicante province but the weather this coming weekend promises to be much more pleasant, with plenty of sunshine and climbing temperatures.
However, the winds which have been threatening over the last couple of days will begin to gather strength, and it could be especially blustery along the coast.
Thursday May 2
Thursday will be nice and sunny with a few scattered high clouds. Daytime temperatures will start to climb up but the evening will still be a bit chilly, just like previous days.
A moderate wind will come from the west and southwest, with strong intervals in coastal areas during the afternoon.
Minimum and maximum temperatures on Thursday
Alcoy: 6ºC to 19ºC
Alicante:11ºC to 23ºC
Denia: 12ºC to 22ºC
Elche: 10ºC to 23ºC
Orihuela: 10ºC to 23ºC
Friday May 3
A little more cloud cover is expected on Friday but it will still be mostly bright and pleasant. Daytime temperatures will continue to rise, but a southeasterly wind on the coast will become very blustery later on.

Alcoy: 7ºC to 21ºC
Alicante:11ºC to 22ºC
Denia: 12ºC to 21ºC
Elche: 10ºC to 24ºC
Orihuela: 10ºC to 25ºC
Saturday May 4
Northern Alicante will be rather overcast on Saturday with a chance of scattered showers but the rest of the province should remain clear. Both day and night-time temperatures will increase once more.
On the coast, a light to moderate southerly wind during the central hours of the day will fade to a variable light wind in the early and late hours.

Alcoy: 11ºC to 26ºC
Alicante:13ºC to 26ºC
Denia: 13ºC to 25ºC
Elche: 11ºC to 27ºC
Orihuela: 11ºC to 28ºC
Sunday May 5
Showers and occasional storms are again a possibility to the north and inland, but for the rest of Alicante, Sunday will be sunny and very warm.
Light wind from the west, tending to moderate from the south in the afternoon in coastal areas.
Minimum and maximum temperatures on Sunday
Alcoy: 14ºC to 27ºC
Alicante:15ºC to 25ºC
Denia: 15ºC to 26ºC
Elche: 14ºC to 29ºC
Orihuela: 14ºC to 31ºC
