Boat trips from La Manga with Solaz Lines
Boat trips from La Manga
Solaz Lines have been in operation since 1988 and operate 2 boats, running inexpensive trips in La Manga and from Mazarrón.
During the summer months they operate boat trips on a regular schedule and the craft are available for private hire the rest of the year, for groups from 10 to 30 people, providing a perfect venue for parties, celebrations or fundraising events.
Refreshments are available for sale on board and the boats have full toilet facilities.
The trip includes dual language commentary and in some cases, stop-offs for swimming, so don´t forget to bring a towel if you fancy a dip.
Please note, there are minimum departure numbers of 6 adults on most of these trips,so the boat can refuse to leave port if there are insufficient participants to warrant the petrol cost. There is no prior booking, just turn up at the port.
Route 1. Two Seas Tour to the Isla Grosa
Duration Two hours without swim, 3 hours with swim
Prices Adults 19 euros with swim and 15 euros without, children aged 3-9 years old 11 euros with swim and 9 without.
Departures from El Pedruchillo La Manga.
This 2-hour trip takes in both the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean. The trip includes a 5-km stretch of the Mar Menor before heading out through the Canal del Estacio into the open Mediterranean and circling Isla Grosa, a wildlife reserve (on occasions the boat is not allowed closer than 300 metres from the island due to the laws regarding protection during the birdlife breeding season).

Route 2. Ruta Swim & Chill Out Tour
Price 14 euros, children from 3-9 years 8 euros
Duration 2 hours
Departures from El Pedruchillo La Manga
Enjoy this exclusive tour to experience a privileged swim in the Mar Menor, anchored for 75 minutes off Isla del Barón. The tour is accompanied with chillout music and includes beer, summer wine, soft drinks and water (limited to 3 drinks per person). On return we skirt the island to see its palace and neo_Mudñeajr style chapel neomudéjar. All you need bring is your food, sunscreen and a towel.
A giant mattress float is available during the time the boat is anchored for swimming, and snorkeling equipment is also available.

Route 3. Five Islands tour. (Islas Mar Menor, the Mar Menor islands)
Price 14 euros, children from 3-9 years 8 euros
Duration 1 hour 50 minutes
Departures from El Pedruchillo La Manga
This is a classic tranquil and enjoyable tour which takes in all of the five islands of the Mar Menor,: Isla del Barón, Perdiguera, Isla del Ciervo, Isla del Sujeto and Rondella. It also includes the port of Dos Mares, la Cala del Pino and a lot of the Mar Menor, and during the voyage you will hear the story of the Russian princess and the Isla del Barón!

Route 4: Sunset Swim Party
Departures from El Pedruchillo La Manga
Price 15 euros, children aged 3-9 years old 9 euros
Duration 1 hour 45 minutes
Tour: Enjoy this fun route where we will sail to the Baron Island, anchoring the boat for about 1 hour for swimming in the warm waters of the Mar Menor. Drinks included: beer, summer wine, soft drinks and water (limited to 2 drinks per person), plus dance music as a party boat. At the end we raise anchors to enjoy the amazing sunset while we sail back to Pedruchillo.
A giant floating mattress is available during the time the boat is anchored for swimming.

Route 5: Isla del Barón
Departures from El Pedruchillo La Manga
Price 9 euros, children aged 3-9 years old 5 euros
Duration : The route takes around 55 minutes.
This route goes around Isla Mayor, which is also known as the Isla del Barón. Enjoy the sea air and view the tower, the palacete and the Mudéjar-style 19th.century chapel, the Punta del Fraile, the beach of Las Monjas, and you may even be able to see one of the mouflon which live on the biggest island in the Region of Murcia.

Solaz Party Boat
Ideal for groups of 15 to 30 people, hourly hire rate, with option of extra bar, own food can be brought on board.

Disabled and Limited Mobility
As this is a seagoing boat, it is necessary to walk on and off the boat, so is not easy for those with serious mobility issues or those in wheelchairs. Although the staff go to every effort to assist passengers, please bear this in mind.
Departure point in La Manga
All trips depart from El Pedruchillo on La Manga.
This is at km8 of the La Manga Strip and is reached via salidas 80, 82 and 83, or by bus at the bus stop Pedruchillo.
The boat is boarded at the Paseo Maritimo opposite the Restaurant Area Sunset.

From the Puerto de Mazarron there are 3 different routes startign at the Puerto Deportivo and the boat has a glass bottom to enable passengers to see the marine life below.
From La Manga del Mar Menor there are 5 different routes, with trips starting at El Pedruchillo.
