For the fourth consecutive day in a run no deaths have been reported in the Region of Murcia during the last 24 hours, so the number of fatalities remains the same at 149 as before the weekend.
However, there has been an increase in the number of active cases since Friday when 172 cases were recorded, the number now being 187, so an increase of 15 across the weekend. 8 of these were recorded on Sunday.
The number of patients hospitalised is now 25. On Friday there were 30 patients in hospital but the number has actually increased by 4 during the last 24 hours, having fallen to 21 on Saturday. Only 4 patients remain in intensive care, a fall of 2 from Friday.
The number of patients who were originally tested via the PCR swab system but have now recovered fully remains the same at 1251.
162 individuals with positive PCR tests remain at home in quarantine.
To date 35,809 PCR swab tests have been carried out in the region and 43,552 antibody rapid tests.
Today the Murcia Region passed into phase 2 of the Covid de-escalation process.
