As we head into the weekend it turns cooler again across Andalucía, especially at night, with a bit more cloud and the chance of some showers in the east, though many places will still see some decent dry intervals.

 

 

Thursday is a pleasant day for much of the region, with generally clear skies and just some cloud bubbling up over higher ground later. There may be early low cloud, mist or a few fog patches in the eastern half and through the Guadalquivir Valley, including around Córdoba and Jaén, but these lift through the morning. Temperatures rise, giving a mild afternoon, and winds are light and variable inland, while the Strait area near Tarifa sees a moderate to strong easterly breeze.

 

 

Friday keeps that largely settled theme with partly cloudy or clear skies and some low cloud at times along the western Mediterranean coast and near the Strait. Cloud builds a little over the hills as the day goes on, but it stays mainly dry and temperatures hold steady or rise slightly, with Seville expected to reach around 24 °C. Winds are light and variable for most, turning westerly during the afternoon, though the Strait can still see some strong easterly gusts early on, making it feel brisk at times around Cádiz.

 

 

By Saturday it turns cloudier, with a generally overcast feel and occasional light to moderate rain, more likely in the eastern half, affecting places such as Granada and Almería. It feels cooler, with a more noticeable drop in maximum temperatures over the higher ground, while minimum values creep up a little along the Atlantic side, including Huelva. There is a risk of light frost in some of the eastern uplands towards the end of the day, as temperatures fall away again. Winds are mostly light to moderate from the north inland, with a moderate westerly along parts of the Mediterranean coast during the first half of the day, occasionally a bit stronger on exposed stretches.

 

 

Sunday brings a brighter picture for many, with partly cloudy or clear skies and just a few patches of cloud drifting around. Minimum temperatures fall again, so it will be a chilly start in places, with light frost possible in some eastern upland areas, while daytime values change little, leaving it cool but pleasant where the sun breaks through, including around Málaga and Huelva. Light northerly breezes may freshen briefly in spots but ease later, becoming more variable into the afternoon.

 

 

The mix of sunshine, cooler nights and mostly light winds looks set to continue into the start of next week, keeping Andalucía feeling fresh but often pleasantly bright.
