Unfortunately the weather forecast for the first half of the week appears likely to force the cancellation or postponements of many events: keep up to date with the latest before making plans!
Tuesday 3rd September
7.00. The Saint’s Day of San Javier begins with hot chocolate for all in the Plaza de España CANCELLED DUE TO RAIN
8.00. A musical parade in the streets of San Javier features the Agrupación Músico-Cultural.CANCELLED
11.30: Holy Mass in the church of San Francisco Javier. TAKING PLACE AS NORMAL
13.00: A free concert in the Auditorio Municipal Parque Almansa featuring the band of the Academia General del Aire and the Stella Maris Börk choir.NB: MOVED TO THE CHURCH OF SAN FRANCISCO JAVIER. SEE 11.30 FOR MAP.
16.30: A concert at the local fairground by Viajeros del Son. MAINTAINED AS IS INSIDE THE MARQUEE.
18.00: Holy Mass in the church of San Francisco Javier.
19.00: The procession in honour of San Francisco Javier featuring the Agrupación Músico-Cultural, followed by fireworks.CANCELLED
22.00: Live music from Liryc Pop at the fairground.INSIDE THE MARQUEE, WILL GO AHEAD AS PLANNED
Wednesday 4th December
22.00: Talent contest at the fairground in Calle Halcón.
Thursday 5th December
22.30: Los Vinilos and OBK in concert at the fairground in Calle Halcón.
Friday 6th December
9.00: A trip to Calblanque, organized by the Club Senderista Chotocabras.
12.30: Music from DJ Angel Pop at the fairground in Calle Halcón.
18.30: A rock festival featuring local bands EUKZ El Último Ke Zierre, Kavando A Pala, Los Parakememeo, Si Nos Dejáis and Proyecto X at the fairground in Calle Halcón.
Saturday 7th December
11.00: Go-kart tournament at the fairground in Calle Halcón.
17.00: Music from DJ Panceta and DJ David Ortega, Tardeo en Peña Almíbar, at the fairground in Calle Halcón.
21.30: Tapas route prize-giving ceremony and various competitions at the fairground in Calle Halcón.
23.00: A free concert featuring Increíbles Full, Lady Writers and Elefantes at the fairground in Calle Halcón.
7th and 8th December
Futsal marathon at the Polideportivo San Javier: further inforation on 659 769464 (Juanma) or at torneosanjavier@hotmail.com and on Facebook (San Javier Torneos).
Sunday 8th December
13.00: A chance to sample the local delicacy known as Pastel de Cierva with live music from Luis Muñoz and his orchestra (a tribute to Manolo Escobar and Raphael) at the fairground in Calle Halcón.
16.30: Float parade (route 4 Picos, Avenida Aviación Española, Plaza de España).
20.00: Live music from Los Happys at the fairground in Calle Halcón.
Midnight: Firecrackers mark the end of the 2019 fiestas at the fairground.
