ARCHIVED - Three roads in Murcia and Archena closed to traffic by rain and rock falls on Wednesday evening
The whole of the Region is on yellow alert for rain and thunderstorms on Thursday
Yellow alert warnings have been issued on Thursday for the whole of the Region of Murcia due to the possibility of thunderstorms and rainfall of up to 20 millimetres, and a foretaste of what might be to come resulted in three roads having to be closed to traffic on Wednesday afternoon.
One of these was the RM-B10 between Archena and Ulea, where rock falls were caused by the rain, while in the municipality of Murcia the roads crossing the Rambla del Carmen and the Rambla de Churra (in Cabezo de Torres) also became impassable.
